Healing

Healing is a 4'x12' immersive painting that invites the viewer into a luminous landscape bathed in gentle moonlight. From right to left, a serene river flows down a rolling hillside, winding its way through lush green grass and dark fertile soil, eventually merging with clouds that drift above, dissolving the boundary between earth and sky. Scattered throughout the scene are blue mushrooms, from the hillside to the heart of a vibrant forest, creating a sense of continuity and quiet magic.
The forest itself shimmers in hues of calming blue, resting purple, and gentle pink, a place of rest and ease—a fictional sanctuary of healing energy. At the forest's edge a singular large mushroom gazes outward, eyes wide open and a joyful, inviting smile, radiating positivity and connection. Above, the moonlight sends ripples through clouds and across the earth, hinting at the wider universe, echoing the invisible energy that supports all life.
Healing is both a personal and shared experience—an expression of the restorative forces I received and now offer to the festival, a meditation on connection, flow, and the quiet power of nature's embrace.
