Explorer's Notes

I asked myself a question I was told not to ask. I dared to imagine myself as being itself, suspended in the vastness of infinity, and was met with the same smallness we experience here. the realization was simple and grounding: we are experiencing exactly where we are.

Near the end of this paintings creation, a vision appeared during meditation. I found myself inside a room constructed from the very lattice I was painting. The space was immersive and alive, and it left a lasting impression. I carry the hope—and the responsibility—of one day bringing that vision into physical form.

A later festival painting emerged as a natural extension of this
work—like a seed planted toward the realization of the room envisioned during its creation. That ingoing thread continues
to unfold.

This painting emerged after my deepest inward descent and furthest reach into the unknown. In that space, I encountered fear, sadness, and anger—an intensity so overwhelming it became clear that remaining there meant stagnation, a kind of nowhere. I realized there had to be another way. A choice.

When I accepted the unknown rather than resisting it, fear became curiosity. Sadness became love. Anger became creation. The vastness of the unknown then revealed itself as possibility.
I found myself surrounded by infinite space—empowered by love and a newfound responsibility I had never known before. Overwhelmed by the magnitude of this experience, I paced back and forth until I stopped in front of a simple pillow resting on the table. I reached out, placed my hand upon it, and slowly pressed down. in that quiet, unassuming moment. tears began to flow—an outpouring of recognition, meaning, love, peace, joy, and creation all at once, a single pulse of existence collapsing and expanding in the same breath.

I chose transformation. I chose to express love, to live in peace, and create with joy. Like a magic trick with a deck of cards: pick a card—any card. Play it with your whole heart, and the world will reflect it back, asking: Is this your card?
This abstract heart and diamond appears as a face card, suspended in superposition—royalty disguised as a joker. It reminds us that power, humility, and play coexist. The lattice of reality weaves everything together, revealing that all love belongs to the same family. In that unity, there is peace; in creation, there is joy.
